Quick update....

My nitro-powered CC-01 is getting closer to being ready for its maiden voyage. I have the engine and exhaust mounted now. I have a long extension back to an HPI Nitro RS4 3 Drift muffler. HPI refers to it as a “tuned pipe”, but I have a feeling it will have performance closer to non-tuned muffler. It exits out the bottom into a aluminum tail pipe that will exit under the rear of the Pajero body. The super long header should help a bit on the torque needed to move this beast. I had to respring the front shocks due to the weight over the front end. I need to get the top of the shocks mounted to the chassis, figure out my carb linkage and mount a throttle servo. Haven’t thought much about brakes yet, but hoping to figure something out.

Absolutely awesome mate, now that's some scale accuracy right there. Everything fits so nicely in the chassis too, like the fuel tank where the battery should go, which is also ironic or something. Also brakes? Who needs those.

A view from the other side. Of course, I'll neaten up the wiring but I want to get everything together and make sure it works before I start cutting, zip-tying and hiding wiring.

….and ruin it I did. I fired it up yesterday and ran about a quarter tank through the engine. I’m not sure what happened, but I went to start it today the engine is stuck. Same fuel I’m currently running in my Inferno GT so I know its not the nitro, but something went wrong even with good fuel and rich carb settings..

Buggar, could it be a bearing or something? I don't know jack about gas motors.

from what ive been told, having long headers like that make the motor run really hot. perhaps dismantle it, find out what seized, rebuild and change the pipe to a free flowing muff if you can find one, rather than a "tuned" pipe, because it will be tuned to be a certain distance away from the motor, having it that far away will destroy any tuning characteristics of the pipe and may have been what caused the failure.

Maybe you just flooded it, that will lock it up every time.

Is it a brand new, to be run in engine?

If yes you probably just stopped it at the top if its stroke and its just very tight and full of compression.
Take out the glow plug and try turn the fly wheel by hand to its free point.
You may need to help it slightly with some kind of tool.

Any update on this? Did you pull the plug and try to move the piston? I'm guessing the engine did seize since you haven't posted anything on it in a while.. Man that is one sweet scale looking set up too, I was very interested to see how it performed..
Great build though my friend, very well done.
