Well, broke the driveshaft today. sorry no pics. the one i made up was already cracked on one of the ears that go around the Yoke, and it gave out rather easily. oops ill pry just try to find another axial female end, as that will be cheapest but, what are your reccommendations? need it to be able to work both ways around the 5" range. Time for a Junfac drive shaft, they are pretty damn solid. I've never come close to damaging any of them on the rigs I have, just lost the odd grub screw.

For budget traxxas driveshafts are hard to beat, esp if you already have metal yokes. The axial plastic shafts tend to have a little give to them, but are longet (than traxxas stampede shafts). I have never had sucess with plastic yokes. If you need something longer than stock(traxxas) you can combine two like mine. |

that's how i had the axial ones. so im guessing thats my option, other than just getting one of the axial so that i literally just piece them together, but so far i havent found the AX-10 shafts online anywhere |

I'm thinking something like this for the front bumper with the "ears" going around the headlights |

I got the "ear" idea from the bumper on my dad's 1:1 Bronco but the "Road-Armor" bottom is different than his. that is a very rough concept and i kind-of started it out of cardboard as im not sure when ill get around to making it out of metal. |

Some new updates; Duratrax roof-rack and mirrors, got the new driveshaft too but no pics, sorry, its the JunFac one, just to give an idea. shoelace and shrink wrap towstrap, and the busted driveshaft for extra scale look |

You've put some mileage on the Flat Irons! I've run mine heaps and they aren't as rounded off as yours.

My dad and i were in the shop trying to think of different thngs for ideas on his bronco and the two ear pieces were scraps from testing a bender he had recently gotten and we grabbed em and held em around the lights, and you see he result | |
