Default lnc mods

We rebuilt the shocks. Went with 42 weight in the rear and 35 in the front. White springs on the front stock on the rear (only cause we cant find red ones up here). Set ride height at 2.5 inches. Hot bodies rover white dot, 10oz in front 6 in rear, two stage foams, axial 8 shooter wheels, lowered body a ton, out boarded rear shocks, lowered upper links to bottom hole in rear, raised front upper links to the top hole, removed lights, 7955tg steering servo, goat 2s system. Works amazing went from teens to negatives in one week.

well it seemed the rear was the only shaft that was putting strain on it, so what i did was took off the stock upper links, went down stairs and took of the front pushrods off my revo 2.5r(its in pieces ATM). then i put thos on and Whalla problem solved. and man do they look fly.

Now all i need to get for it is a goat 3s system. lol

Is it because the driveshafts are slightly longer? I wonder if you could take a dremel to the one end, and shorten it a tiny bit....?

Lipo is nice if you get one small enough you can eather mount it on the servo or on the links, or make a try like what is on the LCC, it is nice to lower the CG. It is amazing how comp worthy the lnc is though, I have done well at 2 small local comps with mine. My biggest problem right now is I have a bad tranny gear that causes it to strip on minor obstacles (new one is on order from the LHS).

How do you "out board" the rear shocks? Sorry for the newbie question.

I've replaced the stock motor with a Titan 21t with the stock 20t pinion, big diff. in low end torque and ground speed. Jr sport servoe(240 oz), waiting on the Goat 3sand added 5oz to each front and 3oz to each rear.

I've also put on a VW body... sits up high on the chassis but thats because I didn't want to cut off the fenders. Looks alright.
