Is this what I need to program the cc bec?

http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...odID=HPI100573
To run my steering servo at 7.4v and keep the dig servo down at 6v

that's it don't know why horizon is so damned expensive on that, look at rpp and they have it cheaper (http://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/csephxl.htm), you'll have to install the software and then just plug the bec into it WITHOUT the battery hooked. then just jockey the power wires on the servo to that and put the servo signal wire to the rx. there is approved castle way as well which is pulling the red from the bec and servo, hooking them together, and having the bec and servo plugged into the rx for the ground.

I just picked one up from CKRC for $22. Very easy to use. It's this model:

http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=CSEPHXL

Allowed me and my son to program our BEC's and his MMP. Not sure what the difference is between this and the one you're looking at.

I bought the other one hoping its the only one I have to get for the esc and hopefully the bec, I find it hard to find out all the info on some of these things especially when I know nothing about these bec yet. With my luck though I'll need something else.

naw, you should be good with that programmer, it'll work with all of castles products to my knowledge (edit: all car esc's), and a couple from holmes hobbies as well.

The cheaper one allowed us to program a Mamba Max Pro ESC and the 10A BEC's so I'm not sure what the more expensive one does beyond that. Of course I'll probably find out soon when I discover I should have bought the other one.

Thats what I'v learned the hard way with this hobby. So now I try to buy the best so I only buy it once!

My first go-round with my LCC I got the Rooster esc/55T combo and a 645mg servo, all good stuff but not for the power hungery LCC.But it worked real well in Dakotas AX10 when we replaced the stock esc in it.Then I went brushless, live and learn.

Thank you. When setting up your dig just make sure you start with your EPA turned all the way down and have the AUX 3ch set to 3 pos.

Default Mamba Max is here! Need Help

I got the ESC installed (its bigger than I thought) and so far its working OK. I used the CLink and got the settings really close to what I want. But I am not sure what to do about the Smatt Sense mode and the Sensored Only mode what is better?

I have a MMP and a LRP 17.5 Sensored, 13T pinion on 3S LiPo....the one thing I did notice is under heavy load when I first touch the throtle it will just hum and wont move...why is that?

Heres the stuff we picked up today. Hats off to Castle for making this ESC very easy to program, had no trouble at all everything from the download to changing the settings went smooth and straight forward.

These MMP are fairly big compared to my Xcelorin ESC. I wanted to mount it up on the receiver tray but it got in the way the shock adjustment. And I didnt have any lexan to put it on the rear links but he can run it like this for now.

Next up we will have to limit the rear shocks and move them out to help with side hilling. It will help clear the ESC too.

Adding the grease ports make it easier to keep the gears in grease all the time, this way you dont have to tare them apart to keep them lubed. Just remove the plug and squirt in the grease. I use a small grease gun that is used for greasing the bar on my chain saw.

Default Shock limiters and out boarded rears

Tonight Dakota and I installed 15mm shock limiters to the rear shocks and moved them to the outside of the mount. We cut some brake line for the spacer to keep the mount from collapsing. And we also move the tops out a bit to keep them from binding, just used an old shock valve for the top spacer.

Now there is lots of room for the MMP. It doesn't get close to the shocks at all now.

I need a longer sensor wire, who make the best one out there?

Thank you sir. The "chainsaw pushluber" is great.I had to grind the end to a small point to fit the hole in the diff.
Heres a picture of the old one I have.
