Put in new sets as well. Kind of weird, it bound up untill I installed and tightened all the housing screws. Seems fine now.

I put the hd's in the front and had to have no shims on the worm to get the housing to bolt back together, and 1 shim on each side of the spool. spins good, but seems to be binding alittle when running the truck. Do i need to break the gears in longer or are the shims on the spool need to be taken out also?

hi,
kindly let me know the following about the gears (Worms HD) by Losi (COMP CRAWLER) .. thank you in advance for your possible answer.

a greeting.
mark.

1: The (Worm Hd) have fewer teeth (Worm original). Factor this may require more effort on the part of the engine and transmission center in the event of heavy climbs?

2: it is true that the gears (Worms HD), as well havendo 4 teeth less in steep upgrades have the same performance as the standard ones, or even better?

4: globally gears (Worm HD) are better than the originals, in any condition you path?

Not really, see below.

They have better performance! Less friction, more durability (hence the High Durability designation).

Yes, but even better is to have HD gear in the front and standard gear in the rear.
With the front axle spinning a little faster than the rear the crawler will turn more easily and also climb "steps" much better.

You still need to keep them greasy though!
