Why wait there are almost always some on Ebay. I bought 30 sets by accident ( thought I put a 3 but accidentally put a 0 in there). I got them for $11 a set.

I have seen the Hot Racing steel set. I do realize they are a stock replacement not the HD, but has anyone had any experience with them?

I have had pretty descent success with some of their other stuff.

If i had to guess, vaterra will pick up the lcc/lnc...which will bring parts availability back up.

I've got a worm based axle coming...shafty or moa...offset or center diff...strong universal axle shafts w/ crazy steering...different widths...light...adjustable link mounts, hopefully strong. I finally got beyond irritated running a shafty setup so i'm motivated to get this axle out of solidworks and into a physical piece. Although i plan on alot of abusive testing so don't plan on it being for sale soon...but working proto's by next summer is the plan.

I looked into getting new worms made, but as pete said, its kinda expensive...and the losi market isn't big enough to justify the investment to get them made.

What part number did they ship? If Losa3187, that's what you want. If Losa3189, that's only the worm shaft which has always been available last several months.

I have seen comments on websites about 3187 worm gear sets being backordered and expected in November or December. Hope it's true.

That sounds interesting. I've been wanting to build a moa rig but can't decide if I want to dive into a xr10 at the point of its demise as it seems to be...

MOA's are great but avoid the xr10 platform...imo

Go with berg or dlux axles....also i've heard rc4wd is supposed to have a sweet new moa axle coming out.

The new RC4WD rig was run at Nationals.

Looks nice! Even with the flat head hardware.

Why no likey the XR? Considering most people only keep the axle housing bottom from the kit anyways. Oh, I think I see your point.
