Why would someone that doesn't show up to the comps need shade?.......

Sure...in about 30 years.

Seriously though, the owner (this land is privately owned) wants the land kept clear....hence the mowing part.

That's good news! Definitely nice to hear about the progress. A big thanks to you all for the updates and your hard efforts to keep the club going. Can't wait to check out this new location!!

Ken and I are planning to try to finish moving all the rocks to the new location this coming sat. Anyone that can make it would be welcome to come lend a hand. Ken has already moved a large amount of rocks on his own and he's available to work again next with his tractor. I believe we can get the rest of the course moved if a few of us show up to help. I'm sure we will grill hot dogs or something for lunch. We plan to start between 7-8am but help is welcome anytime. I know its a holiday weekend and most of us may already have plans so no prob if anyone can't make it.

We should have a written agreement any day on the land use so I will post details soon.

Any help is good help. Ken has about 50-70% of the course moved already. Mostly what's left is our large rocks, the mats, and the mulch border. We are pretty sure we can move what's left Saturday and be done with it. If we get that done the we will for sure plan a "build" day or two where we can all get together and layout our new course.
