Damn..hope nothing too big Jeremy. I've been itching to crawl again with the new sporty updates! Very much interested in helping to build a KOH/rally section where maintaining high speed is just as important as the lines we pick! Actually just an excuse for me to run some of my rally cars and my 1.9 wraith lol. I've been itching on that Kyosho DRX subbie of course! |

How is this new comp area coming along? I am a newbie and good friend of Ken's. I just started building a comp rig and would like to be a part of this local club comp. build.

Let me run this by everyone for thought. I have worked with the Galveston County Parks board at Jack Brooks Park for years. I have been given approval to build miles of mountain bike trails and started the work with them on the disc golf courses. They have a RC airport there in the park and quite a bit of land around the area. Would you guys like for me to contact them about allowing us to build a crawler course there and a small play track of some kind? If approval is granted, they will usually a lot equipment and manpower from time to time as well as help with some of the funding. The fact that we have a organized club would be a major plus as well. Let me know thoughts and I can start the process if agreed to.

Alex Chen is now back on the scene after a suuuuper long time away lol!! Cleaning out the rc room selling all my go fast but keep my Slash LCG Ultimate basher...have a couple of OG fully custom MT's I need to get rid of. Just out of curiosity are any of our guys in GCRCRC into firearms....hand guns or rifles? Be pretty cool to do maybe a little GTG at a shooting range somewhere nearby for all of us? Been a while since we all had some time to kick it! I've been picking up skeet shooting for a few months now....in addition to my new money pit just traded a bunch of my lower end handguns for a beauty and still piecing together my Colt M4.... |

Hey folks native houstonian here. Although I'm currently working in Ohio, I'd love to have a chance to GTG and meet some fellow crawlers! Hopefully I'll be back in tx within a month or so. With that being said how many events do y'all have going on during the winter??

Curiosity - Anyone been to either of these two spots lately? Loves: https://maps.google.com/maps/u/0/ms?...a=0&dg=feature Concrete Canyon: https://maps.google.com/maps/u/0/ms?...a=0&dg=feature They are both a 15-20 min drive from my office, so easy to go there at lunch. Wes |

Big knobs, check out the first page of this thread and the links in the second post work for me. When I am back in the country next week I'm gonna try to go explore one or two of these places to see if they are still accessible, etc. Will report back then. Wes |

Thanks Wes! Although I'm still unable to get the links to work. Guess I'll just have to wait for another gtg and see what happens! Looking forward to meeting some fellow crawlers\builders around my neck of the woods. Im sure you guys know a lot more than I and hopefully I can learn a thing or two from you guys. Take care!
