UPDATE

Took the truck out and have come to the conclusion that these are the best tires for the truck. I might get some CI foams but think the stock foams are good. My truck is now 9lbs and the foams are good.

The truck is climbing better than it ever has and the tires are getting softer with each run.

I have some video I'll post in a few days...

no weight in the wheels. i had knuckle weights but the 1.5 UTE wheels were too small and wouldn't mount on the hex properly.

UPDATE- Here's the video

A couple of shots from today. These worked awsome on our Aussie rock. At speed they worked well and at slow speeds in loose sandy dirt they just kept driving forwards where other rigs dug holes. Could not be happier. Awsome work Pit Bull even the stock foams worked very well for me.

My turn! Finally got my tires and wheels! thanks to RPP and Crawler Innovations!

the body will need a little love! I will paint it a lighter color so it contrast more with the black wheels...

Didnt tried them, i'm only rear wheels drive right now...waiting for my punisher for the front!

Finally got to test these out last night, they are AMAZING!!! Between the PITBULL rubber compound, and the CrawlerInnovations closed cell foams, I'm fairly sure my C1 XJ can't get much better... It was super predictable and more stable on side hills than I could have hoped for... Good foams really do make a ridiculous difference in performance!!!

I thought my TF2 was settled in with the 1.55 Rock Stompers until I took it for a drive on top of my favorite mountain. It was wet and the rocks and roots were slick. After the pathetic performance they gave (NO traction what so ever) I decided I needed to try the Growlers after all.

Initial impression of them is they are really good looking tires. Nice crisp tread and no imperfections anywhere to be seen. The stock foams work well so far too. Plenty of support and still soft enough to get traction. They were a pain to mount on my steelies though, can't quite get the outside bead to seat evenly all the way around on a couple of them.
