| Voodoo U4 Time Frame
We've been getting a lot of emails wondering about the time frame on our new Voodoo U4 tire. We're expecting the CAD file to be finished up in the next few weeks. After that, the mold will take at least a month to fabricate. Next, we'll do some shake down runs and make any necessary changes to the mold...hopefully, no changes will be needed. The tire will be available in 3 compounds: silver, blue, and red. 2.0 x 5.5 (2.2) |

Can't wait to get my hands on these!!! The gold and silvers work great!!! I think thou that I would go with the blue compound for most scale rigs and red for the heaviest if its along the same lines as the Voodoo's.

Are these from the 1.9 or 2.2 poll thread? What did these end up looking like? I hope the U4 name is some sort of indication |

| Re: Voodoo U4 Time Frame Yep, they're the same compounds. The red will work great for heaviest of rigs. I project that silver will be great for most scale situations and blue will be the go to compound for G6 and high speed U4 racing.

| Re: Voodoo U4 Time Frame Yes sir, that is correct I've designed in the same kind of high gap ratios found in the most successful 1:1 tires used in U4 racing, so these things are going to bite HARD |

I have some sweet Ultra4 wheels waiting for these tires!!! I'm so glad I helped persuade you to go with a scale 2.2 over the 1.9 first! Last edited by Tgreer; 02-08-2014 at 09:49 PM. |
