Default shortest 2.2 tire?
Been working on a MOG build and I'm not 100% on 1.9 or 2.2 Not wanting to go to tall as I'm running portals under the rig I'm curious if anyone knows the shortest 2.2? Thank for any help. The ultimate tire guide in the stickies doesn't have a ton of info and search didn't turn up much either

x2, prolly your best bet. The MS's are a knarley design but very short for a 2.2, just over the limit for 1.9 legal.

2.2 stadium truck tires, or 1/8 buggy tires would probly be the shortest.
but race style, not scale treads.

you could always research a few sites that sell tires and compare the "tech specs" a whole lot faster than waiting for others to do it and report back.

Another good option is the new 1.9 tractor tires from rc4wd. What portals you running?

How about the RC4WD MT 2.2 MTZ? They are 4.76" tall.

OD: 4.76" (121.1mm)
Width: 2.08" (52.9mm)

In the midst of rebuilding the Gmade R1 axles. Just replaced bearings with Fast Eddies, aluminum C's, L's, and Wheelie King K's with the Wheely King XVD mod. Pretty built up as stock they are just a sloppy mess. Its a Mog so you have to have portals under it

I was tossing them around with the Flat Irons. The Irons I think are just a bit to wide for the stance I want. Also been kick in around the new 1.9 RC4WD mud tires. Just think those may be limited on the rocks and trail.

2.2 moabs are damned short. 2.2 buggy rear tires are about 3" tall but you won't find much that interests you in that selection.

yeah the yokohama geolander 2.2 are pretty small. But they do a pretty good job crawling. I use it and I like it a lot.
