Not sure what the outlaws are but it says they are for a maxx truck, which you have, right? The BFT tire will fit on any maxx wheel. You will not be sorry with the BFT tires. Waaaaaaaay better than a crappy maxx tire.

Good to hear that. I have AOL IM but only at home and I am never there. When I'm there, I am working on my toys or playing with my kids. This is the best place to reach me! Good luck with your mom and the tires. |

Ok, the tires will be in tomarrow. I just want to know if its necessary to cut a new tread pattern in them or do they already "melt" around the rocks?

You don't need to cut them but it may help a bit. I cut mine but they work fantastic even without being cut. You won't need foams if you don't cut them. You will need a little foam if you do..

ok, i got my BFT's yesterday, man they looks gargantuin compared to my old ones. I ended up having to cut up my fenders on my new Cruiser body to allow for room (Man, that first cuts hurt, lol) I took the foams out and i found they need more support. My truck weighs 10.5 pounds with them on (maybe a bit more, i had to hold the truck on its side to fit it on the scale) and i keep hitting the rims. I decided im going to try cutting the foams in half, if it sounds good with u guys, but i wanna know if it would be better to cut off the inside hole of the foam of the outside of it. I want just enough foam so i dont hit the rims all the time, but still flexable. What did u guys find to be the best setup?

Sand isn't heavy enough. Use BB's. They work great. As for foams. I didn't use them before I cut the tires. After cutting them, I needed foams. I used the stock BFT foams and cut them so they were narrower (about 1 inch narrower) and I then made them thinner. I used the inner ring that was left so it rides on the wheel and the tire can compress down onto it. HOpe that helps phantez! |
