|  Rock Beast ii komp or Alien compound
I searched and searched but can't seem to find any info on how much better if at all the alien compound is to komp. Is it worth the extra $20 a full set? Would the alien require stiffer foams. I just finished building a wraith kit and just about ready to purchase tires. Any insight would be great. So which compound and if it matters, which CI foams depending upon compound. Thanks. |

Alien was just released and it should be superior to the Komp compound. If you are going to be on the rocks a lot, I'd go for the better (Alien) compound. If you are mostly in dirt or other loose material, it likely doesn't matter as much. If you are doing any comps, you'll want to have the best available, but a weekend warrior type thing again I don't know that it would matter, that's really up to you to decide. Both compounds perform, period.

I ended up going with Alien compound. Needed $15 dollars for free shipping from rpphobby so the newer compound won due to price.

foam setup is important on those. they work amazing out of the box with a little work there one of if not the best rock tire. hyrax is right there . i did a write up on here check it out. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk |
