Chris, is it the White Letters you're looking for? I know I would if I was making a 70's or 80's period correct Rig. I'm actually surprised that NOBODY else but Tamiya makes White Letter Tires, and they're so small and ridiculously hard!! (That's what she said!! LOL)
SOMEONE'S got to make some. I've got a LOT of time on my hands.... I'll see if I can find any.

Pretty sure it's scale tread and sidewall height with a little better traction than the Tamiya tires provide - he's doing a tribute to his Dad's old Ford truck.

It was a '79 F-150, blackwall tires - here's the post that has the pic that he managed to luck into of the truck:

How about the MST KM Crawler tire? It's 3.5" diameter.

MCIRacing makes tire decals that can be ordered in different scales...

Thanks gents!

Yeah sometimes it had blackwalls, but i have some memories of white letter bfg at some point.
I dont remember what brand, but i remember he paid a lot for some tires once that were all the rage back then (1986 ish?), and they literally exploded to smithereens in the driveway right after he got them.

Anyway yeah thanks for the help, never noticed those mst tires before. Neat!

And the tire decals are cool too. Wonder how good they stay on when rubbing against rocks at full throttle?
I think so far im tempted to go for the grip doctors...

Keep in mind again these are going on 1.9 traxxas bronco wheels, not beadlocks. I know that sucks, but its the only wheel out there right now that looks like his old wheels.
And i most likely wont put them on u til i go to the phase 2 body (3d printed and much closer to 1:10 scale compared to this Jconcepts that is closer to 1:12).

Thanks again for all the help fellas! I will stay away from those tamiyas.
