I wish we could get a company that would make Hutchinson wheels again, cough TSS cough. Go after something that's not overplayed... the multi hole aluminum wheels are so overplayed.

Rock Shooter 1.9" Aluminum Composite Internal Bead-Loc Wheels

https://www.prolineracing.com/wheels...loc-wheels.asp

Aluminum wheel face, the rest is nylon - direct price of $63.71 a pair... (gulp)

I like the hybridization but it still seems a bit expensive to me.

NO doubt, my man...

(sheesh...!)

For that kinda change I'd expect separate hubs to allow offset adjustment.

Not a fan of using different width hexes to achieve similar results.

I will admit they are less off-putting in these photos, not as shiny as the teaser pics.

I'll stick to my Gearheads, though.

You can get a nice set of SSD's for $25 a pair. These seem a little much for what you get.

These look great... but they're just as expensive or more expensive than Gearhead wheels.

Nope, 'cause when I show off my girlfriend other guys understand why I like her. Not so much with the toy cars.

Seems a bit expensive. Plenty of solid aluminum choices out there for roughly the same price.

I'm guessing the three holes on the back of the wheel are going to be for some weight/scale brake rotor?

Agreed with most of the comments. They look great, but like is becoming typical with Proline, they are way overpriced especially since they're not even entirely made from aluminum!

$63.00 a pair?! For half of an aluminum wheel?!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I’ll keep buying Chanquish bead locks where I can get all 4, all aluminum, adjustable hubs, for under $50.00.

Yes, but I want metal front and rear halves, plastic internal might be ok, seen too many wheels not hold a bead.

I'm guessing these wheels will sit on the proline shelves collecting dust along with other overpriced products they sell.

I wish with the reputation that Proline has they would be able to have more licensed products in their wheel selection. Everyone has a hole design already

Proline is currently doing everything in their power to destroy that reputation that they've earned over the past few decades. They are doing everything wrong right now.

They are? Their tires are still good, that's the only thing I've ever bought from them. I see they just released some belted 2.8" and 3.8" monster truck tires, which is not something I need but I can definitely see the value in it. (hmm...well, actually I could use one set for my fastest monster truck...)

Personally I think metal wheels of any kind on any RC is a complete waste of money, because the nature of RCing is such that the wheels are going to get scratched to hell -- unless you're just building the manly equivalent of a porcelain doll that you can put on a shelf, admire when you walk past, and brush the dust off occasionally. I have a few touring car chassis like that, but I sure as hell didn't spend a hundred dollars on useless blingy wheels for them. (they also serve as "living blueprints" that I can pick up and examine to assist with formulating my next cool idea, so they're not purely decorative.) If you need to add weight down-low, there are better ways of doing it than buying expensive shiny wheels.
