Go buy RIT Black dye, heat up the dye in a pot of hot water dye mix as per the instructions. take it off the stove and let it cool down just a little bit. drop you Delrin piece in the mixture and it should turn black. Keep repeting this step until you get the desired black you want. Edit, Im an idiot. maybe someone can clarify if this works on delrin. I know it works on the White nylon rims. Thats the process if it works for Delrin |

no delfin isnt porous enough to soak up the dye. it kinda gets a smugy purply coating. thats about it. if you want a diffrent color try some krylon fusion paint, or high temp paint

Back when Eritex made his first sets of beadlock wheels I bought a set. They are made of Delrin and are dyed black. I know they are dyed because I drilled breather holes in them and the material is white. Ask Gerame if he remembers how he did it. |

I'm pretty sure liquid rit dye with some salt in the water will get the job done. I colored some homebrew skis that way a few years ago for my tmaxx.

I dump some powdered dye in some water with a pinch of salt, bring it to a boil, turn the heat down a tad, and drop the parts in. Check it every 5 minutes for color. Once its the color I want, I pull it out, rinse it in cool water, wash it with some soap, and call it good.
