Default brazing question

Hey, what solder and flux would be best to braze with? I read that safetey silv solder and safety silv flux? I live in Edmonton Alberta, and was wondering where I could get this flux and solder? Hoping that there is someone on here that knows Edmonton. I've also read that you just put the flux on and heat it til it sizzles, and I also read that you put the flux on and heat it up til it's red hot then apply the solder. It's kind of confusing and I'm so busy with my kids to spend a lot of time trying to find the proper stuff. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I have bought my silver solder off of ebay.also check with your local welding or radiator shops for it.and safety silv flux.will have to heat it until flux bubbles and then gently apply solder and it will run(flow)around anywhere that flux is applied.

I have tried both attached flux and paste flux. I think attached flux is more easier to clean up. Plus bit more expensive for the attached flux
