So the chassis rails came in today. Time to start cutting and fitting the rails to the carbon top plate.

So looking at 3 of the 4 chassis rails in yo get a idea to the size and what it takes to make this all work. I will make the carbon fiber lower plate the makes the chassis supper strong and it also is the mounting base for the low mounted lipos. I will tuck them as far forward as possible.

I have anther Buggy body that I need to do a build for. It looks like 17.5'' is just what it needs to be a killer machine.

I robbed the interior to do a Jeep Gladiator build. I would need to find some parts to get it right. I would also paint the hole with olive green. I have some led lights that would work well with this body.
Any one have a interior for one of these?

I was surfing Feabay and found another complete NYLINT SCORPION MK1 1/6 SCALE. I wasn't cheap 165.00 shipped. I will paint the hole thing olive green just like the 1:1.

I hogged out the light buckets and installed some LED lights. I also drilled out the from shackles to make them look more scale.

I have a stretched Summit that has a 17.75'' wheelbase that I might fit this Scorpion MK1 too.

now that's some cheese

I'd have sold you my 6th scale Nylint/Funrise Scorpion
for $ 120. complete/operable/shipped.
Or just the Scorpion body for $ 80. shipped.

oh well, too late now

look forward to seeing your completed Scorpion build.

But how come this isn't posted in the "Large Scale Rigs" folder ?

The reason I am posting it here is because it is using the clutch, Motor mount and transmission from a Traxxas Summit. I upgrade the tranny using the LEM dog carrier and it's good for 6s power and there is no more sloppy movement in the transmission.
