The plastic Redcat beadlocks work really well and are pretty cheap. You can get a set of gen7 wheels and tires together for $30 on eBay. I also like the Axial 8 hole beadlocks. Both of them clear the portals just fine.

This might be a good option!

Link? Did you have to mod anything? So many look the same, but not all work well without modding.

Here's the one's I got, no modifications at all, just mounted up my Traxxas tires and all set. Price went up to 46.99, still a good buy though, I've had some more expensive brand name wheels before and these are every bit as good as those.

My gmade plastic beadlocks were 13.99 a pair. They look great & were very reasonable.

Why jump on the bandwagon, when you can ride the Short Bus?

I have a set of these on my SCX-10 and like them real good. Be advised though, they are 30mm wide where most other 1.9’s are 25mm wide. I haven’t tried my stock TRX4 tires on them, but I think they’d be better suited to them than most other tires. I wish the Hyrax fit better on them. Actually, I just wish the wheels were 25mm

Picked up a set of cheap beadlocks from eBay. Less than $22 for these and they are actually really nice. Good fit, finish, and hardware. They have plenty of room for the portals too.

I've only mounted the tires in the pic, which are Hyrax knockoffs that I paid less than $17shipped for. They are soft and sticky. I've heard that actual Hyrax's perform better, but I don't do comps, so it doesn't matter to me.

Link for those knockoffs? LOL ;) I have regular Hyrax and honestly, the Canyon Trail stock tires perform as good or better (but this could also be down to the foams).

I've got the same pair. They are awesome! Bought several sets in various colors already!

Here they are on my SCX10 ii, but I switch them with my Trx-4's all the time

Thanks! It will take some time for the rims to arrive in Europe. How is the offset doing on your TRX4?

No issues with steering or clearing the portals with these wheels or tires! The only "problem" wheels I've had are ssd "d-hole" (that's the actual name of the style), which needed a special adapter to fit properly. But the ebay ones have been awesome!
