Default More speed?

So my trx-4 has pretty much collected dust since I got it. I have only ran it a few times. I took it out this last weekend just to bash it and had a pretty good time. Its the smallest rc I own which makes it great for traveling. So I thought I would try and speed it up so I could actually bash it some. So I was wondering if anyone had geared theirs for more speed? I know some people go brushless but I am not sure I want to invest that much since I do not really drive it that often. So what are you guys thoughts?

Running 3s will help.

I do run 3s. Ideally I would like to get it to be able to achieve atleast 25 mph on 3s

Pinions are cheap, perhaps just start with a 12 tooth and go up from there till you’re content with the wheelspeed. I’ve yet to read about anyone gearing up, most gear changes I’ve heard are people dropping to 9t when they go brushless.

I have watched his videos. Absolutely insane how much abuse his truck has taken. He's kinda the inspiration behind doing this, on a much smaller...and safer scale lol.
