Permanent upper panhard bar mount fix

I got tired of the stock plastic upper mount always flexing on my heavier rig so I tried getting an aluminum mount and that lasted for a bit, but the powerful servo and hard crawling bent the mount. I tried 3 different versions all with the same result.

Another issue I had was snapping the mount off on my sport with the inner fenders. It is very frustrating to have to buy 4 fenders to replace one.

My fix I came up with is a weld on mount. Just a little trimming and it's good to go. The only reason there are two tabs is to keep the screw from being the weak point and having that bend

I started with getting this welded on one of my trucks and now every truck I own has this mod including being on some of my friends trucks.

Very nice! I have also suffered pan hard mount failures in the past. First I tried the Hot Racing shock mount but that failed in pretty short order. I'm currently using Yeah Racing shock mounts and they seem to have a much more substantial pan hard mount that has not failed yet. I had not thought of welding a mount on the rail but it makes perfect sense.
