Patience grasshoppa....

Picking up paint today..should have some paint on the body by tonite.

Been busy getting GF's rent houses ready for tenants..replacing subfloors,replacing rotten trim,caulking,painting..

Oh well..more project $$

its getting more black on the grill.

Gonna try to strip off the chrome..

anyone have any tips on that?

Side note..
R2J FSL sliders are in..
Just put a coat of paint on them.

I lowered the body 1 hole..may go another.
Had to notch the body where the bumper supports extend out.

I was worried about the plastic and it having some sort of chemical reaction and it melting the grill...

I've used it on styrene models as a chrome and paint stripper, works fantastic for both. It's actually a favorite paint stripper within the plastic model car community.

cool deal!

Well i had barely enough to strip the chrome off...
just enough to get down in the hard to reach parts.

Then i just lightly sanded the rest off where i could.

Sprayed it black,installed leds as well.

It's Looking right now.
