I've had a Twin hammers CVD beside an Ascender CVD.

The Ascender driveshaft joints are the same size as the Twin Hammers front axle joints. But the Ascender axle CVD's are about 7-10% larger than the Twin Hammers. This seemingly small difference should be enough to keep them alive as long as tire size is kept in check.

Plus the CVD's only really have to be stronger than the seemingly small ring and pinion, right?
