Default Tires in kit

Has anyone tried to put the tires that come in the kit on a beadlock wheel with any success? It looks like they might be a glue only style of wheel. I was wanting to try and put them on a beadlock wheel so that if I wanted to change them out easy I could.

Yep, Mine are on GCM racing wheels (internal beadlock). They fit no problem.

The tire beads are little thicker than most tires, I have had success mounting them on wheels such as, VAnquish method 105, and some SSD assassin. However i didn't have very good luck trying to mount them up on wheels like axial 8 holes and basically any wheel with a narrow channel for the bead to sit into. That's just my 2 cents, hope it helps

Same for me, no problems on the Axial 8 hole wheels. I even tried them on an old pair of Axial 2.2 beadlocks to see how they look. They looked awful but they mounted up no problem.

Hi,
i put them on Pro10 1.9 RC4WD Wheels.
It worked but was not so easy, ended up with longer screws to tighten them first and later used the original ones.

I second that! Makes life so much easier!! I have mine mounted on SSD's currently. Went on without a hitch! (I did use smaller foams, though.)

The SSD beadlocks have been great wheels for me, they are relatively easy to mount tires, look great and take a beating!

I mounted my 1.9 tires from the kit on Pro-line 1.9 Denali's with CI closed cell foams, no problem seating the bead on them.

Those and the Proline Faultline look real nice and should be lighter weight if that's what you want, has anybody painted them with success? They would look good with centers painted silver, gold maybe or color match to truck.

Yes! Thanks for the update, are you spray painting them? What paint is sticking well on them?

I remove the chrome before painting anything. I just repainted the diff covers. I use acetone to remove the chrome.

No problem Yes I'm spray painting them, used Plasti Coat and seems great. Get a nice finish with it also.

I think as long as you use a plastic paint then you shouldn't run into any trouble, I've used tamiya paint previously on pl titus wheels with success

Thanks, yours came out very nicely that's why I asked. It can be difficult to spray small parts with lots of nooks and crannies...too much and it runs, but too little and the corners and all don't get coated.
