Thanks guys! Seems the remaining details are finally getting done, although a small list is yet to be tackled. Had to add a console, needed to cover that trans tunnel, also no self respecting pick-up runs without a tool box! Box will be covered in diamond plate.

Console beginnings....

Installed...

Tool box taking shape.......

Console with sodas looks great! Nice box, how are you going to attach it?

Thanks Natedog.......
The box will bolt through the bottom into the bed when its done.

Got a little further on the tool box. Made the struts out of #226 (3/16") and #228 (1/4") Evergreen tube. Need a bit more hardware and the latch mechanism and it should be ready to bolt in.

Well, some of the final details, side marker lights were a little small for my fat fingers, but the'll work. Side view mirrors were a mish-mash of some Tamiya Hilux mirrors, I cut off the mount and made my own. Again my fat fingers made it more difficult then I thought it would. They will work. Have a shot of the chassis, nothing special, just mounted the electronics so I could get the body to sit on the frame.

Thanks man, was kinda cool to see it made it in. it was fun to build. I learned a lot on this, used that knowledge on the '55 Ford I am close to finishing.

Thank you Natedog! The Ford build thread is in the 1.9 build and SCX10 thread sections. Chevy was fun, the Ford is even more fun to create.

Ernie,
Ernie,
Thank you! I think its inspiration I get from the various incredible builders here. You included. The Jeep, Ibex Camaro.....very well done. Funny, just over a year ago I had no idea how to work with styrene, then between this site and a couple of friends builds, the obsession was released!
