Default Tire recommendations?

Looking at getting some tire upgrades for my K-5 build. Anyone have suggestions on some good crawling tires?

Pit Bull Growlers or Proline Hyrax's. Proline super swampers are supposed to be nice but I haven't run them.

Go with ProLine TSL Super Swampers or Hyrax.

Depends on the terrain you'll be running on. A tire that kills it on one type of rock/terrain can be completely useless on another type. In my corner of the woods we generally run on limestone, so something like the Pro-Line BFG is the ticket whereas the Hyrax is actually not all that great, but we do have a couple of spots where the Hyrax is the go to tire and my Pro-Line's are not so good. My method of choosing a tire is if it's a smooth or even slick rock, I go with contact area of the tire. more tread is more traction. Porous or rough textured rock calls for a more aggressive tread that can grab hold of the imperfections in the rock. I myself don't like super soft compound tires because I believe the lugs flex and roll over to much causing loss of traction where a firmer compound like the G8 will hold it's shape and retain traction.
Now then, If I'm going to be running in dirt or loose terrain, I like aggressive like the Super Swamper. It's all a matter of opinion just like who makes the best ESC. Driving style and setup all play a big part in how your rig will perform.
