I would run that steering linkage arrangement, but put the draglink on top of the servo horn if there's room. Maybe run a Traxxas steel ball end that is not as tall to get more room if needed. EDIT: There are three or four different heights of Traxxas steel balls, some are obvious if you look at them, put a set of calipers on them or stand them up side by side and you'll see the different. It's a great linkage tuning tool!

Had an awesome day with my blazer today
Tested the car today after the upgrades i've done. Steering worked very well and I am very happy with it, but will try to put the draglink on top of the servo horn. I'm a little unsure of these shocks, feel they are a little slow, will try a thinner oil, i use 30 oil now.
was not entirely convinced with the new tires, felt they did not get any grip. But there has been some rain so it was a bit wet so it may have something to do with it . Someone else here running with RC4WD irok super swamper maybe have any experience with these ?

I'd like to hear the suggestions for this myself. I run iroks on all my trucks including my 1:1. I do find they loose allot of grip on smooth wet surfaces but as an all around tired they can't be beat IMHO.

Curious to see your thoughts on the difference. I started with the K10 and will eventually stretch it to the K5 wheelbase. It's on my "to do" list.

Nice Ascender build! I am battling the same upgrade addiction... Was wondering if the lights you installed were a kit? or something you put together on your own? Thanks!
