A couple pictures from Motorama.

Last one is my blazer. Biggest bodies truck there this year (that I saw) and finished around 20th. Stiff competition in the smallest tire class this time around.

I didn't know you had the blazer too. I saw it in line to run. I was looking for the other truck. I agree about the size.

Good to hear more small tire competition, looks like it was fun and good job with your big Blazer! Carnage pics of D90-T ring and pinion, nothing else broken?

Video of the failure in the mud pit.... 12 seconds.... the course was brutal and 3S is just too much for this rigs hearing I guess.

Small update since it's been a while. Installed Boom racings helical gear sets front and rear, no issues and spin smooth like they should. Added a set of VP's new VVD's to the front and adjusted some more steering back in. Also added a Team Associated lightbar for the occasional night run.

Drove it today in class 1 at BoBrocks / Bottoms Up racing event today. Ended up finishing first by a point!

If you haven't run with these guys before don't underestimate their courses, challenging for sure and lots of water, dry creek beds and mud are all included. Finally getting some of the bugs worked out and a few more to go before the G6 event coming up in July at Blue Rocks camp ground.

Rebirth!
It’s always fun to breath a little love back into an old build.
Same body (mostly) but new running gear with a VS410 Origin I had sitting.

Updated the origin to a pro with the trans and braces. Shortened the links in the rear and shortened up a drive shaft to get the wb close enough to be legal for class zero.

Added a team raffe puma hood by narrowing it to fit the Rc4wd body. Also stretched the wheel openings as far back and forward as I could and added some axial flares to hide that fact and keep the tire coverage in check.

Trying to get a maxed out points number for sorrca and keep it reliable and drivable on the trails.
Plans ahead include front and rear servo winches from ReefsRC and the Raw500 for steering. Mamba X with 2850 slate for power.

Interior is next step by using a VS410 interior pan with the left hand drive dash I already made. This will get me a feet up driver and passenger using my favored Tamiya wild Willy figure.

Great looking truck. I love the paint scheme!

The photos in that last post are MASSIVE though. Please delete them and re-upload them. Maximum photo size on this site is 1200x1200. Thank you.

Ahh, the dangers of Tapatalk, I removed the pictures in hopes of resizing them to repost. My apologies.
