Default New guy, newish ascender...

Ok, I've lurked for a wee while looking for and finding inspiration!
Got the Defender 90 body and a Hilux as well, preferring the D90 I think... UK member, and it's one of our own!!
Not much to show, as I'm awaiting parts- new axles, propshafts, shocks, motor etc...
Also, the rear shock towers are very much mock ups. With the shorter shocks I should be able to get them to the same level as the radio box quite easily and TBH that would do me for the moment.

Bit more progress, Khan front end and interior cut to fit standard layout.
Removing the rear seats and going to a van setup. Got plastic sheet on order to cover the rear side windows

I like your plans, that's how I'd build my D90 too! What's a "Khan" front end?

Was kind of hoping you were going to do something fun with the front end.

Very nice truck, I like both bodies. Random question, but do you have steering issues with the servo mounted in the wb4 location running the shorter wheel base and with the shorter bodies?

Not that I've noticed. I think its more a case of room for the standard mounting position for the battery?

Little bit further, grown up stuff keeps interfering!

Van conversion and a coat of primer. Been looking at some of the awesome builds on here, and have come up with as Baldrick would say, a ' cunning plan...' Another Defender, but not seen anything like it on here? Watch, well not this space as it'll be another thread...
