Question Good steering servo replacement....

Looking to eventually replace the stock steering servo. Does anyone know what the torque and speed specs are on the stock one? Not looking to break the the bank, but looking for a faster servo with adequate torque for less than $100. Thanks for your suggestions and God Bless!

I recommend Hobbypartz Solar servo. Me and all my friends are using this brand servo in our Sct racing riggs (We use the high speed D771) and have not had a single problem and they are full metal, high torque high speed, and only $18. I have the D772 in my twin hammer and these things will turn any tire under any condition. Solar Servo D772 High Voltage 0.17sec@7.4v 64g Digital Metal Gear

Hobbico cs-150 is what I'll be putting in my TH later next week when my new servo mounts arrive. It should fit no provlem, new mounts are just aluminum to reduce the flex seen in th3 steering system. I was originally thinking about a 7955tg I had in my parts box but it's really honestly too much for the th. I'll save the $90 servo for something a little more extreme.

IMHO Hobbico is just a rebranded hitec or futaba so it is a quality servo. I have 3 trucks currently using them and have never had one fail. Even in my tank of an 8+lb exo.

Just put a Savox SA-1283SG Super Torque in my VTH and it performs very well. Can be found under $100 too!

I put in a Futaba BLS 452. Really like it so far. Decently quick, enough torque, *brushless*, and just under $100.

I swapped mine out for HS-5645MG that I had lying around and I must say its a lot better then the stock one, but if you budget is $100 id go for HS-7955TG , its a bit over kill but it will last a long time in a TH.
