I am curious to know if there is a Losi spur gear that meets the same specs as the Vaterra Twin Hammers 78T Spur Gear. Noticing most shops have back order or little stock.

I also found that there is 3 entry points for rocks and other bits around the motor housing bracket (green aliminium). Would highly recommend blocking them off to prevent rocks eg getting in there. Seeing as this has been my only problem with my Hammer since going hard with it.

Anything for the TLR 22 series truck will work with the T.H.
Also if your wanna run 32p you can get a spur gear from losi xxx-nt

I've been using a 51t 32p losi Kevlar spur. Works great and fits the clutch perfectly.

I chewed up a couple teeth this weekend when done dirt got in...I suspect it was in the spot you described.

I think the dust cover design is kinda lame. It only has two screws on top, but you still have to take the tranny out to remove it. They should have put a screw or two on the bottom at that rate.

No you dont... just pop the rubber piece off, unscrew the screws and slide it out. All that gets hung up is the removeable rubber cap.

If you want i have 3 brand new kevlar spurs still in pack (2- 70t and 1- 76t) and one used 78t ( 2 packs through it.) I dont need them as i switched to 32p. pm if interested

is a direct fit razor. And I just cut up a coke can to make a cover for the entry points around the motor to save my spur gear. Working well so far

im runnin 30 pinion, and a 90 spur..... working great so far with my 35 turn integy motor, the spur is off of a sc10 I beleive
