Default Gcm front plate / BM bellcrank fitment question

Has anyone here installed the gcm front plate along with the BlueMonkey pbellcrank steering setup? I've tried to find info on any possibly conflictions but can't seem to find answers.

I just picked up the gcm plate and should have it in the next week or so, I'm just trying to get some info any any road bumps I may hit while trying to install it.

Thx in advance for any and all help.

The BMRC bellcrank steering is for a traxxas. There have never really been good instructions on how to make that steering work. If you have a gcm shock upright coming go with st. Irie's bellcrank steering. It is a better steering system as well as st. Irie is on the forums often for help as well as gcm has a video of how to make the st. Irie steering work with the gcm plate.

Hello.
Looks like toyata beat me to it, but I second what he just said.

Honest I would save yourself any future headaches and purchase Sir Iries set up for the GCM tower. Here is the link.
IRIE Products

I bought his full top plate and bellcrank set up, and it has withstood all the abuse I throw at it.

Good luck man!

Thanks for the input guys I'm well aware of the ST irie kit and have looked at it numerous times. I picked up the TH used and it already had the BM kit installed so Switching to the irie setup was going to be my last ditch effort, as the BM kit has worked great so far.

Now that I'm upgrading I was just looking for info and hoping I could keep it w/o having to buy another steering setup but if I need to its no biggie as I didn't really payout any extra for it.

I tried the blue money/Traxxas setup in mine and it sucked. Super pain in the butt. Went with the Sr Irie after that and am super happy with it.

I have a feeling I'm going to have to switch over to his setup which I don't mind doing as its a super nice piece. I was just hoping to find a bit of info before I had too.
