Default Brushed motor recommendations

I thought I had this question sorted but a visit to Holmes Hobbies site has my hopes dashed; no TH specific motor listed anymore So, I'm looking for a reasonably priced motor that's going to preserve the general purpose nature of the truck. I have searched here and elsewhere but most advice seemd to be for brushless mayhem or to turn the TH into a dedicated crawler. What do you think of a Team Orion Method Pro 15x2, there are big reductions on them at Modelsport at the moment. Also the Snow Panther motors from Atees seem to be getting good reviews. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance.

I ran a dynamite 35turn in mine for a little. Great speed and good low end. Made for an all around great motor. Running the stock 15 turn for a little just for a change.

27T Homes Hobbies,I used it on my TH for the last year and I was very satisfied.
Enough speed for fun and a lot of torque for crawling.

The twin hammer motor is a torquemaster 13t. We still have it, but don't have the "for twin hammer" tag on it.

I would also recommend a 27t for general purpose use. It won't wear out as fast as the 13t TM. The Orion motors on clearance would be a fine choice too.

I am also using 27T Torque MasterExpert with CC Sidewinder 3 for almost a year, and i find that combination the best for my TH.

I'm using an axial 20t I had laying around. Suprised how much I'm enjoying it.

I went with the Orion motor in the end, simply because at the price it would have been silly not to. Anyway, I couldn't be happier. A good increase in both speed and torque over the oe motor. The brushes are wearing well and replacements are easy to get. Many thanks for your help, especially JonRobHolmes for being fair by also recommending it as well as his own product, you don't often find that in business, kudos to you chap.

Do you run it on 2s or 3s? I am considering buying a TH and have a torquemaster pro 27t laying around. So would be nice to use it.

My TH DT RTR arrived, threw in a Holmes Hobbies Torquemaster 27t PRO motor in. Ran it on 2s and 3s. Should i change the stock gearing if i want to run it on 3s?

edit..

went for a 3300kv brushless Hobbywing motor on stock gearing on 3s and works great.
