Default Bellcrank Upgrades

Just curious if anyone has done a steering bellcrank upgrade for a rig with the stock front suspension. I'm not sure it's possible but would be interested in seeing what folks have done if it is possible. If so, how is it done?

Thx

I have the upright shock mod on my Hammers with the bell crank steering, but I believe Blue Monkey has a bell crank mod that is designed for the stock suspension

I've put a bell crank on my twin hammers and have kept the standard shock arrangement. All I did was buy an aluminium 1/10 bell crank set up from eBay (can't remember what vehicle it was from exactly, but it was cheap ). Once it arrived I modified it to suit the hammers. The first attempt wasn't overly successful so I ended up pulling it apart again, replacing the brass bushes with bearings and custom made the steering arms from 3mm aluminium, along with the shock mount / brace. Quite happy now how it turned out.

If you're wanting to make one yourself there isn't really much too it. Flick through the threads in this section on steering mods and there's plenty of good information and pics that will give you some idea of what you need to do.

My set up pretty well looks like the other bell crank set ups that are shown in this section so there's no point in posting pics of another...... unless you really need me too.

Hope this helps
