Default Paint for the roll cage

Hi,

I saw a number of folks here that has painted their roll cage. I am keen on trying to paint to a diff color.

Can anyone advise what is the paint that works on the roll cage that probably will not crack ?

I panted the cage on my Wraith. Sanded and applied multiple coats. I would suggest not painting it because you take it out and drive it hard a couple times and it starts chipping off. Just my 2 cents.

I second this,
It looks cool for a shelf queen, but if you use it, it gets pretty ratty looking pretty quick.

I was thinking of having some bright color to be more visible. But I reckon I will drop the idea for a while. or maybe just a polycarbonate side panel thing.

Thanks!

Krylon Fusion has been the most durable for me. Both Tamiya and Pactra lexan paint has scratched and flaked easily. Painting the cage looks great, but gets rashed out fast.
