How wide is the angle of the lens? Say if I put it between the shocks on a comp rig, would it show gates 16" apart from around 2 feet away? What are the demensions of the case? I assume the hole on the end is the camera? Also, can the case be removed to make it smaller, or would that ruin it?

Here is some footage on a drifter @ 1:00 am in a closed parking lot with only 4 lamps lighting the place. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvZrRSuHE4I The camera is waaaayyyy better in sunlight although the lens has a rather narrow field. I can shoot more vids if someone wants to see more. |

I think the outcome is very good considering how hard drift tires are and that I generally run very stiff suspension on my drifter. Here I made a sample vid of what gunnar was asking. Again in an under lit environment (I dislike very bright lights). The cones are 16" apart and 2' away from the crawler. 1st position is on the hood of the tuber and 2nd just between the shocks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emitQdRnaiU In Flames I don't mean to bash your thread, I just find this little cam to be an excellent product and want more to try it. A couple of non-rc related videos testing out my keychain camera: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHxYd...eature=channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Owz8S...eature=channel I think it's basically the same one that's being sold here. For the price, can't beat it. The gopro's are nice, but take up so much room compared to these little guys. |

| I use a 1/2" foam pad under the camera, it absorbs vibration very well. Stand-by time is up to 120 hours. Not to sure on filming time, but then again it depends on how big of a MicroSD card you are using as well. |

Thanks for the answers, pics, and video, looks good. I'll make another assumption that the video is right side up when the camera is postioned with the buttons facing up? (Like in the first picture) And I guess the buttons control the camera operation. I'll order one, I promise Last edited by gunnar; 03-12-2010 at 01:26 AM. |
