Default *****720x480 30fps Micro on board camera, $16.99 each!!*****

720x480 30fps Micro cameras
$16.99 each!!!! (PayPal only)

These cameras are designed to look like a key fob for spy purposes, but they work awesome for taking on board video for all kinds of RC's!

These cameras do not hold their own memory, they require a MicroSD card.

These cameras come with a UV spray finishing on them. These little cameras take excellent video in well lit conditions (outside during the day). It also has excellent audio. They take video in AVI format, as well as take pictures! You can use any MicroSD card between 1-16gb.

For $16.99 you will receive a camera, usb corb (used for charging and transferring videos/pictures), and a cd which on it has, a owners manual and a program to set the correct time stamp on the videos.

Shipping:
USPS First Class: $2.00
(International shipping may cost more)

**All cameras will be fully tested and in 100% working order before they get shipped out!

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me! I will be posting some sample videos soon!

How wide is the angle of the lens? Say if I put it between the shocks on a comp rig, would it show gates 16" apart from around 2 feet away? What are the demensions of the case? I assume the hole on the end is the camera? Also, can the case be removed to make it smaller, or would that ruin it?

I will try and think of a way to take video and show how wide the angle is. The camera it self is about 2 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide at the widest point. The hole on the end is the camera, and the small hole next to it is a microphone. You can take the case apart, i already had mine apart once, you may be able to shrink wrap it to save some space but you will loose the protection of the case. I will get some pictures of it without the case on for you. If you have any more questions please ask.

Here is some footage on a drifter @ 1:00 am in a closed parking lot with only 4 lamps lighting the place.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvZrRSuHE4I
The camera is waaaayyyy better in sunlight although the lens has a rather narrow field.
I can shoot more vids if someone wants to see more.

It would be a good idea to put a piece of foam under the camera when you mount it so the vibration does not interfere with your overall quality.

Here are some pictures inside the case for gunnar:

Yes the cam was mounted on a double sided 5mm thick foam tape.
I think the outcome is very good considering how hard drift tires are and that I generally run very stiff suspension on my drifter.

Here I made a sample vid of what gunnar was asking. Again in an under lit environment (I dislike very bright lights). The cones are 16" apart and 2' away from the crawler. 1st position is on the hood of the tuber and 2nd just between the shocks.

In Flames I don't mean to bash your thread, I just find this little cam to be an excellent product and want more to try it.

Regards

A couple of non-rc related videos testing out my keychain camera:

I think it's basically the same one that's being sold here. For the price, can't beat it. The gopro's are nice, but take up so much room compared to these little guys.

This is so awsome.

How long does it take to charge the battery on these, and how long does it hold a charge?

I use a 1/2" foam pad under the camera, it absorbs vibration very well.

Stand-by time is up to 120 hours. Not to sure on filming time, but then again it depends on how big of a MicroSD card you are using as well.

Thanks for the answers, pics, and video, looks good. I'll make another assumption that the video is right side up when the camera is postioned with the buttons facing up? (Like in the first picture) And I guess the buttons control the camera operation. I'll order one, I promise

Correct, when the buttons are facing up, it is taking video "right side up".
