Those skins are very very nice!! Jaw dropped to the floor!! :-O Really incredible. I look at the ones that are already complete and I think.... man.. Where did these guys get their ideas from and if I got a set what would they look like? What would we talk about to come up with some ideas? WOW!! I would for sure enjoy brain storming with you. Please send me a PM when you have a minute and lets get the ball rolling on something. Thanks so much! James T.

Here is a pic showing what my skins look like after 2.5 months of regular abuse: (sorry for the crappy cell phone pic) Notice, the skins are in perfect condition! It was the thin lexan (IIRC, 0.030") that I used that failed. I plan to use stuff that is a bit thicker on the sides next time. I've also discovered (thanks for the tip Michele ) that it is best to use a washer where screws pass through the skins. |

Good evening, I wait impatiently for my skin, which is between Canada and France, and I ask a small question..... needs it to put the skin before folding the panel or folding the panel then putting the skin?? Thank you Gat714 for the pic Last edited by Erik83; 03-29-2011 at 11:56 AM. |

I bent my panels after the skin was placed...it is much easier to place the skin on a flat panel just make sure you don't use anything too sharp when making the bend.

Got my v4 skins today. I really wish I were a little better photographer. I wanted a rusty rat roddish "hillbilly" themed skin, Michelle made it happen |

Krawler Konceptz made these awesome skins for my rig and radio in dedication to my female miniature Dachshund, Winnie, that became paralyzed just before Christmas, but is now walking thanks to the awesome surgeons and staff at OSU veterinary hospital. The design was somewhat of an afterthought as I was planning a set of skins for competing at Motorama, but then had to cancel due to Winnie's recovery time and needs. It was then that the idea for these skins was born at Krawler Konceptz, to honor the little girl fighting to walk again. I must say that I am so impressed with the design work with incorporating Winnie's picture into the design, and the quality of the work and materials. This rig and radio gets lots of compliments where ever I take it. Last edited by Pappy; 03-31-2011 at 11:36 PM. |

Hey Michelle, all of these are great work!! Looking good! I was wondering if you had an image of and interior or cockpit overhead picture(single seater), I was thinking of having you do an interior skin for an interior panel.. Hope that makes sense, its late and cant sleep. Lee |
