some people say deeper tread...some say less tread depth.

some say 2.25 width...some say 2.1 width.

General consensus please. Someone start a poll or something.

You can add a poll to this thread, go to the thread tools drop down and it will give you the different options for the poll.

Right now, in many folks opinion, the 2.2 XOR is the best performing tire in it's class... even though it's not the most scale tire.

If I were PitBull, I'd want to keep that rep despite what the poll says.

You'll never please everyone.
A few mm too wide, narrow, short or tall doesn't really matter that much.
If it performs, we'll buy it.

I think everyone would agree that the overall size and shape of the 1.9 is perfect. If you increase the diameter 30.7% you will be 5.75" tall, simply increase the width 30.7% as well and you'll have the width (which works out to approx 2.18"). No matter what the measurements are, they will change depending on the width of wheel, foam setup, weight of vehicle etc.

So to wrap it up, make them 30.7% bigger in height and width than the 1.9 (5.75" tall by 2.20" wide) with a tread depth of .150", make the sidewall and bead 50% thicker than the 1.9.....but the most important thing is to GET THEM MADE!

Aren't the 1,9's 4.45" tall? That's from the PitBull site. That would make your percentage 29.2 to get 5.75. In that respect, your initial post on width is likely right on at 2.1/2.15". I just don't have a 1.9 to verify.

I measured a 1.9 without foams and it was 4.4" tall and 1.7" wide. I don't think 1/10th of an inch is going to matter either way.

Now I'm going to make some drawings since now I know what to do.

As for wheels...who wants regular wheels and who wants beadlocks? What the most popular wheels on the market for regular wheels and for beadlocks?

Yes...that's right...I want to make some rims...and I want to make them highly functional and good looking as well. Sounds like the perfect wife!!!

We will probably sell the tires separate without foams simply because we already make the 2.2 Dos Piezas two stage foams and most people already have foams. It will keep the costs down for everyone. If you want foams...you can buy whatever you want...but hopefully our Dos Piezas which should work with the new 2.2 Rock Beast II....Part Deux...Dos...or whatever the hell we call it.
