So my first 1/10 crawler is a custom venom creeper

it seems like it might just be an issue that is happening because of lowering battery power like the motor isnt getting enough juice to hold the brake on but i could be wrong i dont have any experience with the novak system lol

i dont think my issues related to lowering battery power cause it never did it before till recent. I also noticed my motor getting really hot about same time my brake starts failing might related.

My Tekin does the same thing.. my rooster didn't.. I'm even on my second motor with the fxr, it did it with both. Now if I throttle up an let go it locks up fine. If I slow crawl up something an let off it coasts back or down over something it coasts forward... No got motor tho.. I agree, its not low battery..

mine does same thing if i throttle up and let off it holds fine if slow crawl up the hill and let off it rolls back hmm wonder if i can program the roosters brake

I love my Roosters but the drag brake leaves something to be desired...it simply isnt strong enough...what you have now is probably all youll ever get from a Rooster. Great esc IMHO...but the drag brake and Lipo capacity are its only downfalls...a Smart Stop Lipo Cut Off allows for 3S lipos but the drag brake is just a Drag!, as it were.

So i know understand why everyone upgrades drive shafts to metal yoke ones i finally broke earlier today so now it sits till i can get a replacement so my friday birthday crawl is out oh well

Ya i shouldnt be gloom but it sucks though cause my wife offered to let me go out crawling on my b day at a couple good local spots but my creeper blew a front driveshaft so now im a driveshaft down with no money to replace even though a locals got a couple different sets buty no money and nothing to trade which sucks. Winner you rock dude and spare parts much appreciated and well be used as needed lol.

Or two.... Traxxas long truck shaft with plastic yokes an a dual female, stock venom, with a male between them, worked great for me an if you have the update kit with the aluminum pin covers, you will be set! Over nighted so toI have them to get ur rig set up with them or one of them on.. the dual female was mt front shaft...

alright well heres a few more pictures did get as many as i would of liked or as much done as i wanted but i did get the custom front drive shaft on front that winner sent and i open rear axle and inspected and regrease so on the pictures blown front shaft and the new front shaft . Im going to redo shocks tonight and hopefully open front diff up for inspection and regrease also
