you can have too much, that there is too much. Notice he also had to pre load the setup with the chains just to make it functional. I don't doubt it is a more capable crawler in specific layouts, but there would be so much unloading going on that the thing would be completely unstable with any real wheel speed. I guess if you wanted to carry it from obstacle to obstacle you could, but it would not drive there very fast. I bet the axle wrap is pretty bad too.
