1.9 and 2.2 classes without all that scale point stuff would be cool, please let us know.

Scale comp is comp with scale crawlers, and is about driving (at least it used to be) not decorating, besides it says challenge, doesn't mention SORRCA, just looking for answers not an arguement.

Info on the type of challenges would be cool too, doesn't sound like a gated course event but more like a TTC, either way please let us know.

The 2 classes will be 1.9 and 2.2. This is event is meant to be a fun event where a bunch of guys get together and put their trucks thru an obstacle course. Top three fastest will be awarded prizes in each class (1.9 and 2.2) There will be penalty point if you need to turn your truck over or if you need to physically touch your truck to get it unstuck. We have done events like this in the past and they are a ton of fun. For those guys that don't have scale accessories and still want to participate in a event then you are good to go. For those super scale detailed guys there will be a prize for best of show as well. either way you go you will have a good time this day.

You are correct this is all about driving. Here are some of the stuff planned for that day.
Pallet Pile crawl
bamboo bridge
suspended bridge walk
sled pull
plus more....we are still designing the layout for that day....let me know if you have any ideas

What are the rules for legal equipment? Dig/rear stear, winch, limit on channels, ect?

So are there going to be gates or boundaries? What kind of truck can we run? Does it have to be a scale truck?

It says scale event so yes it has to be a scale rig.

Sounds like a number of challenges not courses (not that I oppose courses).

I'm sure On The Rocks will give more info as available.

Sounds like fun, thanks to all responsible for this event, I hope to make it.

there will be no winching aloud. To be honest I don't think you will need it.
No limit on number of channels.
dig and rear steer allowed

There will be gates and boundaries. Most of the trucks (if I had to guess) in the event will be like your scx10, wraith, trailfinder 2, but it isn't limited to these style of trucks...basicly you should be able to run anything....as long as its not a summit with 1.9 tires HAHA

It will be a course that is laid out. You will be scored by how fast you can make it thru the course. There will be penalties if you hit a gate marker or if you go out of bounds or if you need to physically turn over your truck. We have done events similar to these in the past and everyone has had a good time.
