Trying out a new servo: AGFRC 55kG servo from Amazon, $103.99. They make the servos that some other well-known companies re-badge. 556@6v, brushless, aluminum case. I could bump up the voltage to the rx with a BEC but the max is 8 volts on the stock VR-1 receiver.

EDIT: I forgot about the Holmes Hobbies bypass connector, which means I can basically power the servo directly without overloading the rest of the system. Guess I'll be ordering one of those.

Putting together a better set of tools. The Protek case should have enough room for all the extras. No more tossing a random handful of tools into the backpack.
