Default Best price for a X-Crawler??

I wanted to check with you folks... best price, and where to get it? Tower shows that it is discontinued. I was hoping to snag one before they are gone!

Dont buy one, they are discontinued already for a reason! the axles are junk, the gears all separate in the gearbox. Overall quality is chincy... The trucks list prices dropped $100 and then $50 at a time within 2 months, I assume its because of the lack of quality, but people are still tryin to unload them now for the 450 they got them for. I think list now is $299... I guess they must not have tested them. just my .2 cents!! I personally would wait until something nicer comes out as an entry level crawler kit. Or hell go to RCPCrawlers they sell the Hustler chassis as a roller with their Stage 2 Clod axles that are proven quality for not much more than the XTM costs. I also heard some rumor somewhere that Axial was working on a super class? may be totally false.... Again this is just my opinion, I dont mean to insult any XTM owners that like the trucks! (I sold mine before ever running it due to the horror stories)

Good luck!

the two main problems are-weak axles which has been fixed. also there is a gear issue which ive found a fix for and now the truck feels un stopable. i would still get one and send me the gears and ill fix them for cheap.

I was really just looking for a BIG crawler... just for fun! I won't be dropping alot of money into it. I really like the Hustler, but it seems to sold out? Maybe im not looking hard enough? The Irock sure seems to be a really bad idea soo.... im lost? I just wish somebody would put out a BIG shaft driven crawler!! Thanks for all the info!

What ever you do dont get the irock. my buddy got one and the gears in both axles striped out within 5 hrs of use. the x crawler is realy reliable after fixing the gears. i have bound the heck out of my tires (enough to flip the truck on level ground) and no problems here.
