***CDW 1.0 Chassis Build***

curious since i havent tried it yet but what would the benefits be of running the upper links on the outside of the frame as opposed to inside?

iv still got mine on the inside since it moves the front shocks in and helps me not rub the front tires on steering lock to lock.

The only reason I don't have them inside the chassis is because the wont be PERFECTLY straight, and the way I have everything stuffed in there, if the links where inside the chassis they would hit everything.

This chassis is good. I finally got to run mine and it works well. I am running a setup sort of like Tanis with Losi 4" shocks, and double triangulated links. I like it so far, I did not lose anything from my previous setup and now I can setup the truck more easily for ground clearance or slam it back down for smoother rocks.

I'll start a thread and post some pics soon..

Got the shocks set up to 3.464" long eye to eye. When assembling them use the biggest spacer it comes with.

What is the I2I on the revo shocks?

With Revos and these shocks how is the flex compared to a stock AX10?

Thanks!

Eye to Eye on the Revo's = 3.425"
Eye to Eye on the Losi's = 3.464"

Even though the Revo's are only .039" shorter the Losi's still have .95" more travel.

Flex compared to a stock AX10 is PROBABLY about half If I can remember right. Its been SO LONG since ive seen a STOCK AX10 .

Going to have your truck done by this weekend? I think Ill be headed to SF this weekend:lol:

Yes I will be out there. I'm waiting on my revo shocks from ebay show up. Either way I will improvise with something. Tonight I will be finished with all but the shocks. I love how small and light the chassis is! Top quality on the skid plate too! "thumbsup"

Just post the day and time you think you can make it on the SSF thread. Doug's 10 minutes away and I'm about 20.
