***CDW 1.0 Chassis Build***

Looks good with the new shocks on there Anthony"thumbsup"

Really was not going for looks:lol::lol::lol:. But I can say from the little time I got to use it today, is that this new setup works 100% better then my last shock/link setup.

How close do the tires come to the shocks with them mounted way outside like that? The .9's look good on there."thumbsup"
They rub but its not bad at all.

awesome build"thumbsup", what is your ground clearance? If I am not mistaken, those are the 4" shocks right?

Thanks.

I have 2.800" of ground clearance. And the Losi .9" shocks are 3.464" eye to eye with the biggest limiting spacer it comes with.

2.8" of belly clearance is great while keeping the COG low "thumbsup" just got my CDW chassis in the mail, can't wait to try it out!

So to build them .9's you need...

4-double o-ring
4-shafts
2-packs of threaded body's
1-piston pack
1-swivel balls
1-e-clip pack
1-shock ends and cups

Is this right?

Here ya go:

LOSA5055 qty. 4 Shock Bodies
LOSA5015 qty. 8 O Ring Cartridge
LOSA6100 qty. 2 E Rings
LOSA5046 qty. 2 Shock Pistons
LOSA5064 qty. 8 Ti Nitride Shafts
LOSA5147 qty. 4 2.75" Spring White
LOSA5079 qty. 2 Shock Ends & Cups

You might want to consider using the traxxas rod ends also, I personally don't care for the Losi ends.

Thats wrong Cedric, thats for 8 shocks:lol::lol:

This is for 4 shocks:

LOSA5055 qty. 2 Shock Bodies
LOSA5015 qty. 4 O Ring Cartridge
LOSA5046 qty. 1 Shock Pistons
LOSA5064 qty. 4 Ti Nitride Shafts
LOSA5147 qty. 2 2.75" Spring White
LOSA5079 qty. 1 Shock Ends & Cups
LOSA6100 qty. 1 E Rings( dont NEED these I just got them for extras)

And these are the only Traxxas rod ends I could find that fit the losi spring cup. They are the 4 that come in the #1942 rod end set.

I didn't know you broke two!

Nice job making it through all the hard sections today! Your rig is dialed in nicely. "thumbsup"

I'll get some video tomorrow.

Yea, I just broke another one when I got home. I got my dig finally setup and working and I went and tried it out and then, SNAP, another one broke:x.

Now I dont know if I can make it out there tomorrow. I need to go to hobbytown and pick up some more spare pins before I come out. I also need to get 2 more battery's. One of my battery's wont take the charge anymore. so If I come out I wont be there until about 2:00 or so.

 now you got me thinking i need to check mine, went to clean the truck last week and found i spun an aluminum hex inside my Junfac wheel. wondering if i tweaked my pins.

That thing needs some Ti uppers bud, and maybe some new CVD Ti pins?

Rocksmith..... That would be awesome if you would make some Titanium CVD pins for the Axial CVDs8) I would buy several sets and don't care what the price is."thumbsup"
The Axial cvds are a great design, i love mine, but the smaller pins are a weak point.
