Are you not afraid of the square corners next to the ball ends snagging? Or are they closer to the same size than they look in the pics.

Nope, im not worried about it at all, The corners are not sticking out that much. If anyway it ends up being a problem ill file the corners.

.... And these are the only Traxxas rod ends I could find that fit the losi spring cup. They are the 4 that come in the #1942 rod end set.

Nice lookin chassis and those Traxxas ends are THE way to go with the Losi shocks....Losi ends fit very loose and pop out easy. Traxxas plastic is more durable too. "thumbsup"

My Axial CVD repair.since I cant seem to keep the stock pins in one piece.

Drill this out with a 1/16" drill

The new 1/16" pin on the left. The 1/16" pin has a shear strength of 800lbs. I picked them up from Mcmaster.com part #98381A418

you didnt have to open the slot up any? im wondering if thats what put the pressure on the pin causing it to break.

i may just do this pre-breakage since i noticed some play in that area on mine. my pins were still good shape and they've had about 30 hours of runtime on them.

I thought the big spacer was to go inbetween the 2 o-rings in the shock cap? Mine came with 1 big spacer and 2 littler spacers.

yea, there biggest spacer goes between the o-rings ,but it also come with limiting spacers. There are 2 spacers connected to each other. use the bigger of those 2.

How are your CVDs holding up now?

I blew a pin apart last night and swapped both pins around to 1/16" drill bit shafts. I hope this holds up because Im only running 7 cells and plan to upgrade to 10 cells.

Well it's gonna have to do without, cause I forgot to instal them and there built already. I'll just tip the shocks back a couple holes if I have to.;-)

Lasted long enough to make me need to order a new set. Things really got sloppy after awhile(axle shaft wearing) and then the pin snapped:x.
