went and watched Yes Man at a theater yesterday. and saw a trailer for a fast and furious movie. its pretty bad when even in the trailer you can pick out the automotive mistakes.

they had the sound of a small block Chevy through flow masters coming out of a Buick grand national.

when the first F&F movie came out, walking out of the theater, i thought to myself, "this is the first time Ive ever been actually embarrassed to be a car guy."

I saw the teaser trailer a few months ago and was laughing at the wrong exhaust note from the GN too, as well as the idea that they could so easily throw a 180 with trucks like that, be able to drop a 8' drawbar so precisely from a moving vehicle, and that (once again) truck drivers are portrayed as idiots. I guess having the driver turning all those cars to scrap in the first scene wouldn't have made for much of a movie though...

But, I will go see it. I plan to laugh out loud at the errors. I will also be drooling at the newly hotted-up Jordana Brewster. yeeow is she purty!"thumbsup"

The best part of the First movie was the Charger. And even that was ghey. (The one-wheel burnouts were just sickening) At least they brought that back.

I don't care how bad it is I'm still gunna watch it. There's something about bad car movie that makes me happy.

Outa place cars

I remember when I went to see Good Morning Viatnam (sp?) at the Movies with my daughter, and saying out loud "Hey look at the Valiant". got a good dig in the ribs for that one.
Apparently it was filmed in Aussie, and it was a 1970's Aussie Valiant Sedan.

What number is this one? I have to agree with dieselfuel, I remember feeling the same way when I watched it. If I have to hear one more stupid ass kid say the work "nos" instead of nitrous I will shit myself! I'll stop myself now before I go on a page long rant.

"nos" :lol:

after the first one i corrected one of those rice burner fast kids and he looked at me like i had 3 heads.

2 things in life i wish would dissapear ....... people thinking burnouts in the rain are cool and 4 cylinders who think they can beat everything. ( and i mean the ones that arent built right )

There were a couple guys from the s10 forum that got into the movie, it was filmed in parts of Miami and Orlando. They said the people that got invited had better looking and running cars then the one ones used in the movie. I lost laughed so hard watching tokyo drift that I almost pissed myself. If I see one more E brake slide called a "drift" then its over.

Well they think that if they slide sideways then theyre drifting, and i dont think it counts when the wheels dont move...
As stated earlier, stupid ass kids keep saying "nos" and they think thats what it is
Next time i see somebody in real life that says that .Then, its over.;-)

All four of those actors are sellouts. The last two movies were just cars nobody could ever afford. And TD was so fawkin fake, japanese kids owning $30-$40 cars running from the cops 'cause they're "factory tuned"? Justin didn't do a good job on F&F3 and Annapolis was okay.

haha if you look closely in the first one when they pop the hood on the eclipse its just the n/a model! haha not the "t4 turbo" like they were talkin

man.. i just watched the trailer for the movie, gota say, i like it... and i really like the look of that twin rear axle truck that fliped around.. shoot... didnt know it had a cool cast like it did...

i know it might not be all that accurate or believable, but dangit, its a freakin action packed movie, and most of the cars in it are freakin awsome...

cant wait for it to hit dvd... "thumbsup"
