Kaetwo's Tekin FX-R Review...

I haven't installed the update yet, but I ran the FX-R in my Losi MRC at our clubs first get together on Sunday, and damn, it was butter smooth with the 380 size motor.

I'm looking forward to my 2.2 build and getting the update rolling on my Epic 45 turn. I love this little speedo "thumbsup"

I never got an email.

Luckily, I have RCC friends!

It is smoother on start up. "thumbsup"

? Will this new update be available w/hotwire/online @teamtekin. . .or an email-download basis only?
Got 2 FXR-Pros waiting to go in 0-T, getting hotwire fri.

nuub question: What concerns should I have about dumping a 45T, maybe even a 35t motor into my rig? I'm using an 8-pack nihm and the spektrum rx with the fxr.

I'd like to know this also. ^^

2nd, does this new software affect both the FXR and FXR Pro or is it mainly for the FXR?

I'm hoping I didn't miss this going thru the thread.

I'm having steering servo weakness and twitching problems with my set up FXR ESC, Hitec 5955 steering servo, Hitec 225MG dig servo, Spektrum 3100 reciever.

Running without the BEC the servo twitches and is weak.
Using the Castle Bec all the lights on both ESC and Spektrun 3100 flash and the system is compleatly dead.
and I removed the red wire from the ESC connection to the 3100 reciever?

My steering servo the Hitec 5955 is digital but the dig servo Hitec 225MG is analog. The 225MG won't work when my DX3R is set to a frame rate of 5.5 ms but they both work on 11 ms but the digital 5955 buzes a little.

The proplem would seem to be calingl for a BEC but both reciever and ESC won't have it.

I don't see where I'm missing the set up has anyone had a simular experiance?

I have a queston about the drag brake. does the new upgrade software help with increasing the drag brake? I'm at full right on the db and i still get more roll less brake then i'd like. i'd like to adjust it some how so if the new software does this, please lmk.

fxr shut down

Ive read the 24 pages of this thred looking for answers,My fxr is shutting down when I have to steer alot so I adjusted the end points like said further back in the thred this did not help.I notice that when this happens the lites on the esc flash from 4 to 1&2 if thats the temp then thats normal? this esc worked fine in the rig it was previusly in,It has ccbec set at 6volts radio is a spectrum 2.0 the servo is a hi tec 5998tg this esc is about a year old. any help will be greatly aprishiated. Thanks

I just redone all of my electronics HH 7t,fxr,cc bec and a 3s lipo.my rig is a little over 5.5 lbs What is a good ball park settings for programing the fxr?

About the only thing that I adjust on mine is the drag brake. Its at 50% now but this is where everything else is.

Try putting the power wire back in coming from your speed control another words just run both BEC's. I have seen this work many times for my self and others running similar setups to yours with the same problems. Many guys have been running this way including myself for a long time and has performed flawlessly ever scenes."thumbsup"
