Nice chassis I can't wait for mine to get here. This has to be the coolest looking buggy I have seen yet.

The one on my berg worked fine for a year too. I'm just a little leary about putting the battery on the front axle. The Rowdy mount is cool, but the Sedonas and a lot of steering will get all into the mount and almost stall out the front motor a bit. This happens on my buddy XJFarmers rig. It was pretty disturbing to be digging or turning hard and the front motor stalls a bit causing the rear to push around more when you don't want it to.

Thanks man!!"thumbsup" As far as the limiting goes, I actually used these little spacers I got with the big bore piston kit, I think they are shock spacers used for mounting the shocks on the slash or something like that, I just pulled the shock shaft out, put the long spacer in and then there is also a short spacer that comes in that same kit that I also put in. Normally I'd use fuel tubing, but these little spacers worked perfect! The shocks are around 3 5/8" long right now.

I'm using traxxas 3 hole pistons in the shocks with 22.5wt up front and 30wt in the rear. I'm gonna try it like this for a bit but I might switch to 22.5 in the rear also. The front feel really nice right now, but like Harvo said, I'd like to get the front and rear shocks to load equally in speed.

I'm considering switching to 3.5" big bores in the near future as they worked much better on my berg/T1E than the limited 4"ers did.

Well, had my first comp with it today. The truck did pretty awesome!!! It did everything I asked it to do and it did it very well. I ended up with a -71 on the day, 85 points ahead of second place.:shock: I wish I had some pics of it on the rocks, but i don't think anyone got any today.

The main thing about this truck is the stability. I cannot stress enough on how stable and predictable it is. It did things today that I never figured it would have. The truck just feels right. I'm not sure i need to do any tuning with it right now. I'm gonna try 3.5" shocks just for kicks, because they did make quite a difference on my old moonbuggy when I switched from the 4"ers to the 3.5's. I cannot be happier with it right now!!!!:mrgreen:

Any time you need any tips, just ask. I don't know everything, but I've learned from some of the best out there."thumbsup" I was amazed that I really didn't have to tune the truck at all. It just worked!

Thanks man!!"thumbsup" I only had 2 packs through it at home before the comp. Those packs were just crawling around the house and outside on the curbs! LOL!! There are certain things that my berg would do on the curbs at my house and on the steps. I knew that if this truck would do them just as well, it would have to work decent.



As soon as VP releases their knuckle weights, I'm gonna have to pick up a set of them. As long as they work with my wheels though....

I'm sure the OD is fine on the wheels...it's the ID you will need to get on the vp weights..Then you will know if they clear...
Vp stated that the production weights won't have the counter bore on the front of the weight...that might prove to be a big fittment problem for mayhem evo and ME4 wheels...

Kinda what I was thinking too. I wish our hubs were just smaller in diameter. Just a thought though, If they get rid of the counter bore, that would pretty much make the front of the weight flush with the back of the hub, so theoretically, they should work just fine. I just wouldn't be able to run the weight rings, unless I did some modifying to the hubs. Who knows, maybe I'll just have to figure out a way to weld on the hubs and then lathe them down if I can't get mine to work.:lmao:
