I just picked up a set of the Rock Stompers the other day. They fit really well and look great. Haven't tried climbing with them yet as I'm still in the process of building the truck.

If you're running any kind of lift, and I think you are, there's no problem for trail running. Climbing isn't so hot, but I think that's inherent to the leaf spring set up. This is a heavy little truck. I tried to comp with this in a class 2...and had my a$$ handed to me. Everyone said to run it in a class 1....it got retired to trail running. It's real nice for that, and a lot of fun

The rc4wd iroks ars so ugly I can't explain it also look nothin like the real irok in 1.1 for the fact how squared off they are and their tread depth but with some shavings on the sides to round them off they look great "thumbsup"

Haha. I thought it was funny. I can see tires are a sensitive topic. I'm gonna wear the stock ones down before I decide on new tires. And keep an eye out in the for sale section.

Evan, don't take it so seriously, IT WAS A JOKE!!! If you wouldn't get so sensitive and look at the end of my sentence there is a laughing my axx off symbol. I don't try to start chit with anyone but I do try to add a little bit of humor to these crazy forums where everyone is being so serious. I got a 6ch Tx in order to get the 3racing winch working from the controller. I am using a hacked gt3b. Has anyone tried to set this up before?

Grrr. I just got the newer firmware on my hacked flysky gt3b and a new 6ch tx in order to run my 3racing winch from my controller. The problem is, I can only get the winch to go in one direction. I need to reverse the channel in order to go the other direction...every time. Which kind of defeats the purpose. I guess I need to get a different winch controller right? Or is there something else I can do on the gt3b to make it work???:evil:

I took some 1/4" balsa and shoe-goo-ed it around the inside base of the cap. This served two purposes for me. One it reinforced the cap, as Dinky instructs, two it gave me something to put double-sided trim tape onto. Rolled the truck a few times with it and it never came off until I removed it.

They don't say how to but they do say the cap will need reinforcement.

We've done most of the difficult work to give you the shape and design, and leave it up to you to finish as elaborate as you like. Installation will require trimming, as well as additional styrene or abs work. Allowing you to decide how you would like to attach them.

Building additional under-structure for strength and durability is highly recommended, and is NOT included.

You're right...usually. :ror: on the TF2's running one of them over the main leaf will help reduce axle-wrap.

I did some CAD of some scale items and did a test 3d print with the lower resolution printer to determine the correct size. I will have to send it out to get it printed in a higher res material if I actually want to do this. These guys have made stuff for me before that is pretty nice.
